To promote service learning at HSMC, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Academic Staff Development Committee (ASDC) and Student Affairs Office (SAO) invited Mr. Chan Hung, the Founder of Principal Chan Free Tutorial World, to conduct a sharing seminar with our staff on 23 February 2017.
In the seminar, Mr. Chan shared his notion of education and his view of Hong Kong’s education system. He introduced the education model of Principal Chan Free Tutorial World, also introduced how to pair up the tutors and students, in order to help the students who from poor family and can’t catch up normal school curriculum.
The seminar was well attended with over 30 participants from different departments and offices. Participants were keen on raise questions and had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Chan.
