Nowadays, people all over the world, especially Hong Kongers, buying the products more than they need and use. In Hong Kong, many people buy many clothes and products that they didn’t really need immediately, leading to numerous things stored in their home but just seldom used. Moreover, most of those products may send to landfill eventually even those products didn’t use much time. According to the survey done by Greenpeace, everyone in hong kong has about 100 pieces of clothes, and nearly 15 of it was never or wear it only 1-2 times. However, the recycling rate in Hong Kong is relatively low compared with the western countries. According to the data came from the environmental protection department of the government of the Hong Kong, special administrative region, more than 100,000 tons of textiles are discarded each year in Hong Kong. it has obvious evidence to point that most of the product was wasted in Hong Kong. To eliminate this issue, we decided to develop a new app to protect the environment and recycle the product that’s valuable in others’ eyes.
