Abstract:

Are you interested in finding out some more resources to enhance the quality of teaching and learning for students and teachers? Quality Enhancement Support Scheme (QESS) could be one of the sources! If you think it is a bit too far away from you, how about Teaching Development Grant (TDG) funded by our University?

Granted with our University’s TDG for the project “Read-out-Loud: An A.I. driven App to improve the language speaking proficiency of students in English and Putonghua” (2019/20) and also a QESS two-year project “Interactive artificial intelligence assisted chatbot for self-improving oral English proficiency” (2020), Dr Jack Wu will provide you with an overview of the funding opportunities, priority areas and preparation work. Looking for cross-discipline partners with common interests is also an important issue to be discussed.

Come join and be inspired! Perhaps you could even find your project partners over there.

All academic staff are welcome to join.

For enquiries, please contact Centre for Teaching and Learning by phone at 3963 5011 or by email at ctl@hsu.edu.hk.
