HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards (2020/21) Sharing Seminar Series

The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) was privileged to have the five HSUHK Teaching Excellence Awards (2020-21) recipients speaking for the Sharing Seminar Series on 17 August 2022. All academic staff as well as new academic staff joining the University in the Academic Year 2022/23 were invited to the Seminar Series for exchanging experience in teaching and learning and celebrating the achievements of the Awards recipients.  

Dr Heidi Wong, Lecturer from the Department of English, Dr Christine Choy, Assistant Professor from the Department of Art and Design, and Dr Kaylee Kong, Assistant Professor from the Department of Management spoke on “Teaching for Transfer: Collaboration, Co-creation and Lifelong Learning”.

Dr George Ho, Associate Professor from the Department of Supply Chain and Information Management and Dr Lawrence Lei, Assistant Professor from the Department of Accountancy delivered their seminar titled “In-N-out, Not for Burgers, But an Integrated Learning Journey For Students” about grooming students inside and outside the classroom. 

The five excellent teachers brought lively presentations and practical examples in and out of classrooms to the seminars, triggering meaningful discussion among the audience and the speakers.
