On 17 October 2025 (Friday), the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK) was honoured to host a seminar under the「廣東省中小學百千萬人才培養工程名班主任省級培養項目」.
The session, titled “教学法与学生学习创新专题研讨 — 结合新型教学法及应用”, was conducted by Dr Ben Cheng, Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and Finance and Director of CTL, together with Mr Kelvin Wan, Digital Learning Specialist of CTL.
During the seminar, Dr Cheng and Mr Wan shared insights into innovative teaching methods, active learning strategies, and student engagement practices in higher education. Participants—secondary school teachers from Guangdong Province—actively exchanged ideas and experiences on how to integrate new pedagogical approaches into classroom practice.
This meaningful event was co-organized by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, South China Normal University, and HSUHK, aiming to strengthen professional collaboration in basic education within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to support the growth of outstanding class teachers.
