You are cordially invited to join the upcoming activity STEAM in Action: Workshop on VR-enhanced Teaching of Traditional Chinese Medicine co-organised by the Common Core Curriculum Office, Graduate School, and Virtual Reality Centre at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK).
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a long and rich history, carrying profound cultural significance while continually seeking innovation in modern education. With the advancement of technology, Virtual Reality (VR) has introduced brand new teaching and learning models to TCM education. Through interactive sharing session and immersive VR tour, this workshop allows participants to explore innovative applications of technology in traditional disciplines.
In the sharing session, we have invited registered Chinese medicine practitioner Professor Albert Leung (Professor of Clinical Practice, School of Graduate Studies, Lingnan University) and Ir Dr Eugene Wong (Associate Professor, Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, HSUHK) to demonstrate how VR technology integrates with innovative approaches in TCM education. Interested participants may also sign up for the immersive VR tour afterwards, where they can experience the processes of herbal selection, packaging, and decoction, gaining new perspectives on how technology can enhance teaching and learning in TCM.
