On 26 March 2026, Mr Kelvin Wan, Digital Learning Specialist was invited by the Lingnan University School of Graduate Studies to deliver a guest lecture on the topic of “Generative AI as a Learning Partner.”
The session introduced a game-based and experiential approach to integrating Generative AI into teaching and learning. Students participated in interactive activities designed to promote critical thinking, reflection, and active engagement.
During the session, a high level of student engagement was observed, with students demonstrating attentive participation, inquiry, and reflective thinking. The lecture highlighted the potential of Generative AI to move beyond efficiency-driven use towards supporting deeper learning processes and metacognitive development.
The session also facilitated meaningful academic exchange and opened opportunities for future collaboration.
