HSUHK’s New Student Welcome Day on 24 August 2026 was filled with energy, excitement and new connections. The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) was delighted to greet new students and introduce the many ways we support teaching, learning and student development.
A highlight of the CTL Booth was the immersive Virtual Reality (VR) experience, where students explored how technology can create engaging and practical learning opportunities. The activity attracted enthusiastic participation and inspired students to think creatively about future applications of VR.
Students also learned about CTL’s key services, including Digital Learning, Service-Learning, Teaching and Learning Enhancement, and the Virtual Reality Centre.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited, volunteered and helped create a warm welcome for our new students. As part of the HSUHK community, CTL looks forward to partnering with students and teachers throughout the 2026–2027 academic year to create inspiring and impactful learning experiences.
