Event Highlights
Service-Learning Excellence Awards Ceremony cum Student Forum 2023 was held on 19 June 2023 to celebrate the accomplishments of students and teachers involved in the service-learning modules. We were pleased to have more than 45 participants present at the ceremony. Professor Hui Yer Van, Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) and Dr Ben Cheng, Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, officiated the ceremony and expressed their congratulations to awardees.
This year, a total of 11 teachers received Certificates of Appreciation presented by Prof YV Hui and 12 student project teams received “Service-Learning Excellence” Awards with certificates and cash prizes presented by Dr Ben Cheng, and 6 student teaching assistants were awarded certificates in appreciation of their invaluable services.
