Abstract
Hong Kong as an international city is a place where everything happens very fast paced. According to a survey done by South China Morning Post, more than 50% of Hong Kong workers work more than 44 hours per week (SCMP, 2014). While people here work day and night, it seems that nowadays what they lack isn’t money but time for themselves and family and friends around them or even just a nice meal after work. One of the interviewee claimed - “ I work 12 hours a day, 72 hours a week. Where do I get the time to be with my family? I don't even have enough time to rest” (SCMP, 2014). With a goal to improving living standards here in Hong Kong, the idea of our project is to create a sense of home and to improve interpersonal relationships for our fellow users as well as taking care of their health by providing home-made meals for different users at the same time as a type of small dinner gathering.

Our target audiences for the application are those who have no time to shop for ingredients and cook after work and home chefs who share a passion for cooking and don’t mind hosting and cooking for a mini dinner gathering for our guests. We will ensure that everyone is in a position that they are comfortable with and enjoy the session as much as possible.
