This symposium is designed specifically for educators like you who are eager to explore how Generative AI can revolutionise teaching and learning. The event is structured into two insightful sessions:
Session 1: Teaching and Learning with GAI – Presented by our colleagues, this session will showcase innovative approaches to integrating Generative AI into their modules. You will learn how fellow educators have successfully enhanced student learning and engagement using GAI-driven methods.
Session 2: Research on GAI in Teaching and Learning – This session features external experts who will share their latest research on Generative AI in education, including:
- Evaluating the Effectiveness of a Customized Chatbot for Research Literature Summarization and Discovery by Dr Simon Wang from HKBU
- Gamifying Learning with ChatGPT by Professor Eric Tsui from PolyU
There will be opportunities for interactive discussions, enabling you to share ideas, ask questions, and network with peers who are also interested in the educational applications of GAI.
