The Digital Learning Section (CTL) successfully delivered a rerun workshop titled “AI-Powered Data Analytics and Business Presentation” on 16 April 2026 for students of the Data Science and Business Intelligence (DSBI) Programme.
The session, delivered by Mr Kelvin Wan, Digital Learning Specialist, focused on equipping students with practical skills in leveraging Generative AI tools—particularly Microsoft Copilot—for data exploration, visualization, and insight generation. Through a hands-on approach, students engaged in analysing a real-world dataset, formulating analytical questions, and transforming findings into structured business presentations.
The workshop also emphasised the ethical and critical use of AI, guiding students to move beyond surface-level usage and develop the ability to validate AI-generated outputs, interpret results meaningfully, and communicate insights effectively.
Feedback from the programme team highlighted that the workshop was “very practical and valuable”, with strong relevance to students’ future careers. The workshop materials were also shared with students for further learning and reference.
