The GenAI Meets Edutainment workshop series drew over 160 participants across three hands-on and inspiring sessions.
🎨 Using GenAI to Create Artistic Images
Facilitated by Ms Charlotte Lee (Centre for Teaching and Learning – Digital Learning Section, CTL) and Ms Laura Cavanna (Department of Art and Design, AAD), this session explored the power of AI in generating visuals that support storytelling and student expression.🎵 Using GenAI to Create Music
Led by Dr Connie Wong (Department of Social Science, SSC) and Mr Kelvin Wan (CTL Digital Learning Section), participants learned how to apply music theory and AI tools to compose educational songs that reinforce key concepts.🎬 Using GenAI to Create Educational Videos
Co-led by Dr Sobel Chan (School of Communication, SCOM) and Mr Kelvin Wan (CTL Digital Learning Section), this session introduced practical video creation tools and demonstrated how GenAI can support engaging and effective multimedia for teaching.
Each workshop highlighted how Generative AI can enrich the learning experience through creativity, interactivity, and purposeful educational design.
