The Third Talk of My Learning Story – All Roads Lead to Rome

On 1 December 2022 (Thursday), the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) was honoured to have invited Mr Tai Lun, Paul, alumnus of the Hang Seng School of Commerce, to be the speaker of the third talk of “My Learning Story” (恒學集) under the theme of “All Roads Lead to Rome” (條條大路通羅馬).  Mr Tai is currently Far East Regional Managing Director of Mainetti (HK) Limited and Trustee Member and School Supervisor of Forest House Waldorf School

During the talk, Dr Ben Cheng, Director of CTL, invited Mr Tai to share his learning experience and stories from his childhood, his school life at the Hang Seng School of Commerce, and to his career.

The audience was impressed by Mr Tai’s exemplary leadership role at the multinational corporation as well as inspiring stories on how he learned from difficulties and tackled challenges throughout his career advancement. 

In his sharing, Mr Tai also expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the teachers at the alma mater for their care and dedication to teaching. He wrapped up the talk with words of encouragement to the audience, “Good learning companion promotes life learning. Never give up in face of difficulties, and be a lifelong learner.” 

The talk was drawn to a close by Mr Tai’s impressive Taichi performance, interactive questions and answers session as well as quiz games. All participants shared it was a fruitful day with much learnt from Mr Tai’s inspiring stories and management experience.
