The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Academic Staff Development Committee (ASDC) and Deep Learning Research and Application Centre jointly organized a seminar about Deep Learning on 23 May 2017.
We are pleased to have Professor Chin, Director of the Deep Learning Research and Application Centre and Head of Department of Computing, to share with us with the topic “What is Deep Learning and why it matters?”. In the seminar, Professor Chin explained how computers learn and the recent breakthrough in Deep learning which affect our life in many aspects.
Participants found the seminar contents informative and useful and were keen to raise questions and engage in the discussion with the speaker.
