After the great success of the first HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards Sharing Seminar delivered by Ms Joey Lee and Dr Felix Tang on 8 December 2015, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Academic Staff Development Committee (ASDC) co-organized the second seminar of the series on 25 February 2016 at Room 603, Lee Quo Wei Academic Building.
The second sharing seminar was delivered by Dr Muk-Yan Wong, Assistant Professor of Department of Social Science and Dr Ricky Wong, Assistant Professor of Department of Supply Chain and Information Management, the two HSMC Teaching Excellence Award recipients, with the titles “Curious to learn. Learn to be curious” and “Experiential Learning and Simulations”. Dr Muk-Yan Wong and Dr Ricky Wong shared with the audience their valuable teaching practices and notions of inspiring students to learn. The talks were instructive and enlightening.
During the Q&A session, participants were enthusiastic in asking questions. The sharing seminar was well attended with highly positive feedback.
