To promote and enhance the quality of teaching and learning at HSMC, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Academic Staff Development Committee (ASDC) invited Dr. Eugenia Ng, the College Registrar, to conduct a seminar entitled “Engaging Students Learning via Flipped Classroom” on 13 October 2016.
In the seminar, Dr. Ng shared one of her recent study on the pedagogy of flipped classroom. Dr. Ng provided a practical example of flipped classroom implementation and discussed the benefits and shortcomings of the pedagogy.
The seminar was well attended with over 25 participants of Academic staff from different Schools and Departments. Positive feedback was received from participants who found the seminar contents informative and useful.
