Seminar on “From F2F to Online Teaching: Keys to Delivering Effective Classes”

In view of the challenges and difficulties arising from switching from face-to-face to online teaching, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Staff Development Committee (SDC) jointly organised a seminar entitled “From F2F to Online Teaching: Keys to Delivering Effective Classes” on 24 June 2020.  We were honoured to have Ms. Catherine Chan (Chinese), Dr. Cathy Lam (Supply Chain and Information Management), Dr. Joyce Lee (English) and Ms. Rosalie Woo (Economics and Finance) to share their keys of delivering effective online classes.

In the seminar, the speakers not only shared their experience on the preparation of online teaching, they also shared how to enhance the interaction and communication with students on different teaching platforms.

The seminar was well attended by over 30 participants from different Departments/Schools.  Participants found the sharing seminar useful and obtained some insights from the speakers.

Apart from the sharing seminar, the speakers also prepared their “Reflections on Online Teaching” and shared with all teachers after the seminar.
