The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Academic Staff Development Committee (ASDC) jointly organized the fourth seminar in the series of the HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards Sharing Seminar 2016/17 on 16 May 2017.
The fourth seminar was delivered by Dr. Heather Lee, the Assistant Professor of Department of Accountancy and Dr. Yam-Wing Siu, the Assistant Professor of Department of Economics and Finance, the two HSMC Teaching Excellence Award recipients, with the titles “Accounting and Teaching” and “Go the extra mile (or at least a few little steps)”. In the seminar, Dr. Lee and Dr. Siu shared their valuable teaching strategies and practices. The talks were instructive and enlightening.
The sharing session was well attended with over 25 HSMC staff members from different Departments and Schools. Positive feedback was received from participants who found the seminar contents informative and useful.
