To facilitate colleagues to have a better understanding of learning programme accreditation and quality assurance, the Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and Staff Development Committee (SDC) invited Mr Ted Chuck, Senior Programme Manager of Registry to conduct a seminar entitled “Learning Programme Accreditation and Quality Assurance” on 28 September 2017.
In the seminar, Mr Chuck talked about the reasons for quality assurance, quality assurance in higher education, quality assurance mechanisms at HSMC as well as the HSMC’s roadmap and timeline to private university status.
The Seminar was well attended with about 30 HSMC staff members from different Departments and Schools. Participants found the seminar contents informative and useful.
