The Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Staff Development Committee (SDC) jointly organized the third seminar in the series of the HSMC Teaching Excellence Awards Sharing Seminar 2017/18 on 28 May 2018.
The third sharing seminar was delivered by Dr Eden Chow, Senior Lecturer of Department of Accountancy and Ms Betty Poon, Senior Lecturer of Department of Economics and Finance, the two HSMC Teaching Excellence Award recipients, with the titles “Teaching Pedagogy for Inspiring the Students of the Future” and “Flipping the Classroom for Introductory Economics”.
In the seminar, Dr Chow and Ms Poon shared their valuable teaching notions and practices. The talks were instructive and enlightening. Participants were keen to raise questions and engaged in discussion with the speakers during the Q & A session.
